Hi guys and dolls, I'm a java programmer living in Holland, just ordered the NXT package. Great stuff, can't believe that after 15 lego-less years it's going to be part of my life again. Starting with lego Starwars 2 on my Gamecube, and now this :). Will my next car be a Lego one?
Once I heard there's going to be a java VM for it, I knew this is my cup of tea. Always dreamed of programming robots. And Lego is trusted allready for it's quality by the past. Nice they're just giving free their NXT interior design. Smart, lego is back on track! Read an article a while ago about it's near 'death' from a financial point of view. We all need the fysical brick if it's running all kinds of cool 'homebrew' stuff, and there's only one manufacturer :). It's expensive, yeah, but also must-have :D This list provides all the needed information to go on, great to know development for the VM is ongoing. And that OSX use is/should be doable. I'm not sure whether these kinds of blabla introducing stuff is ok on mailinglists... shoot me if not! cheers, Robbert ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys.
