For sale is a used Radeon ATI 9650 256MB Graphic Card for PowerMac G5. It is originally from a Powermac G5 Dual 2.7 and has two DVI ports.
Want to run a 30" Apple Cinema Display with your G4? Then this 9650 is the ONLY solution! This card has been modified to allow it to work in a G4 PowerMac! I taped the number 3 & 11 pins on the AGP connector to allow this card to be used in the 4x AGP slot that is present in the G4 Digital Audio, Quicksilver & Mirror Drive Door models. I used this card in my own Sonnet 1.4GHz upgraded Quicksilver for approximately 9 months without any problems. It provided a HUGE BOOST IN PERFORMANCE for running both graphics applications as well as for gaming!!! This 256MB Radeon 9650 should work in any G5 with an AGP slot as well as any G4 Digital Audio, Quicksilver or Mirror Drive Door Mac and allow you to run a 30" display from the Dual-Link DVI connector as well as a second display at a resolution up to 1920 x 1200 on the second DVI port!! If you want to run this card in your G5 simply remove the tape covering the 2 pins on the back side of the card.
