This is the story :-) I bought a PCI card from eBay which turned out to be not what was advertised but in fact an ATTO UL5D. This is a PCI express card which requires a x4 lane. Now these cards go for ~$300 (!) so I'm not complaining.
I do have a couple of nice 15Krpm U320 SCSI drives that I could use with it but I don't have a Mac with a PCI express slot :-( I think the oldest suitable Mac would be a DUAL 2.3MHz G5 tower. So I'm looking for a bare bones one. I'm a real LEM guy so price is critical! Anyone? Alternatively let me know if you are interested in this card.
