Up for sale is a nice Pismo. It's in decent cosmetic condition. Here
are the specs:
* PowerPC G3 500 MHz
* 14" LCD
* 512 MB RAM
* 60 GB HD
* DVD-ROM drive
* Working battery
* AirPort Card installed
* Battery holds a charge
* AC adapter
It's a nice machine indeed. It can handle the internet and email quite
well, and the AirPort card is a nice feature to have. You can use it
as a wireless machine, as the battery lasts about 1 hr 45 mins or so,
but there are no guarantees on the battery life. It's harder to find
the 500 MHz iterations of the Pismos. The display has a stuck pixel
and at the bottom corners of the screen there are some very small dim
spots, this isn't a major issue. The screen has no keyboard marks. The
keyboard is in good condition as well. I can provide pictures upon
request of the unit.
I'm asking $245 OBO shipped with insurance. If you're not satisfied,
you can return it minus shipping and any other applicable fees. Please
