The AC charger charges much faster than attaching the iPod to a computer via FireWire. To charge an iPod, all you have to do is plug your firewire cable to the charger, and then attach your iPod. For those who do not know, when you plug in the iPod to the adapter, you can listen to it without losing power. Great feature.
