My iMac G4 is sitting in pieces on my kitchen table!! I thought just the hard drive needed to be replaced, but after reassembling it the first time, I noticed the optical drive won't open. I can hear the gears trying, but something is causing it to stick.
I noticed I could buy one new for about $35 shipped, which I'll probably end up doing. But, I thought I'd ask here first. It doesn't need to burn CDs or DVDs, just play DVDs. Let me know the cost, including shipping and handling.
