Some friends have an old PowerBook G4 400MHz they'd like to fix up for their 7 year old daughter to use (so she won't always be asking to use their "real" computer). I've offered to do the work if I can find the parts cheap. It has a bad display with colored stripes, and the DVD drive doesn't work, so that's what I need (I don't know if the display problem is the display itself or the cable, so I guess I need both). Anyone have any of these, cheap for a good cause?
