This is a 12" iBook G4 1.33 GHz in excellent condition. It has a 40 GB hard drive, 1.5 GB of RAM, an Airport Extreme card (for wireless networking/Internet), is Bluetooth enabled and has a combo drive (reads/writes CD-R & CD-RW; reads DVD). You can read about all the specifications here: http://support.apple.com/kb/SP43
This was the last model of iBook before Apple switched to the MacBooks. It has AppleCare (Apple's extended warranty) good until March of 2009. (The AppleCare follows the iBook. Apple has it registered to the serial number of the iBook.) I bought this iBook on eBay last Spring and was able to verify the Apple Care when the combo drive went out. It was replaced at no charge. (I'll include a copy of the service agreement.) There are minor scratches on the exterior of the iBook but the keyboard, trackpad and monitor show none. The little rubber bumpers that go on the display were gone when I got it (that's pretty common) so I replaced them with squares of the fuzzy side of velcro. (It works very well for providing the cushiion needed to keep the keyboard from contacting the display.) It has all the rubber feet on the bottom! It has a fresh install of OS X 10.4.11 (Tiger) and will come with iLife '05. The battery holds a full charge and is reasonably new. (The battery is about a year old and hasn't had a lot of use. I used my desktop Mac 95% of the time. I only used the iBook for checking email and web surfing when I was away.) This iBook runs really well. I have used Photoshop CS3 with it without any real issues. I'm only selling it because I got a really good deal on a new MacBook. (I'm also selling my Dual 1.8 GHz G5 tower. It will be listed shortly.) The price for the iBook with the fresh install of Tiger and iLife '05 is $425.00 plus $15 shipping and insurance in the Continental USA. (The genuine Apple power cable/charger is also included.) It will be shipped in the padded box that the Apple service center used to return it to me after replacing the combo drive. I accept PayPal and money orders. I have sold several items here and I have 100% positive feedback on eBay: http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=magicmikey&ftab=AllFeedback Please note one quirk I found. It apparently was an issue with the last iBook G4s and the first version of Tiger (OS X 10.4). When you intall the OS, it requires a USB mouse because the trackpad get disabled. When you update it (I used the 10.4.11 combo updater), it restores the trackpad. I discovered this when I put a fresh install of OS X 10.4 on it. I will include a 10.4.11 combo updater on a CD with the iBook.
