Hi everyone, I have my macbook disassembled for repair, and now would be the perfect time to upgrade from the combo drive, presently installed, to a Superdrive. Most ebay sellers are overpriced (in my opinion) or overseas, and I would prefer to do business in USA for reasons of shipping time (and I am just a bit wary of ordering from Taiwan or China).
Models I know to work include GSA-S10N, and UJ-857. Others may work as well, but it must be the superslim version (9.5mm) as the "slim" at 12.5mm will not work. I will have a perfectly working combo drive available for partial trade if that would be of interest. Or the combo drive will be for sale at a later date if I find a Superdrive. Perfect opportunity if you have recently parted out a broken Macbook to sell the Superdive to a VERY appreciative LEM Swapper.
