Up for grabs, a Pismo. Gotten from a member here (thanks again man), has gotten me through till I got back to my other machine, but is ultimately too slow for me. Looking to either sell or trade
Apple PowerBook Pismo G3 400mhz 1gb ram 40gb hdd, shipped empty, no os dvd-rom and a USB2.0 pcmcia card, works great with tiger. makes my data transfers sooooo much quicker Battery, however, is dead. I opened the casing to check out the cells, as I was contemplating replacing them, but funding doesnt allow it. I will include the battery if desired. Corner of the lower casing is missing that little tab between the battery and the battery release handle, and the bezel around the screen is a little cracked at the top corner (came corner as the lower casing, I imagine it went hand in hand.) Neither affect operation of the Pismo. I'll also toss in a pair of 256mb so-dimms, Apple brand. I'm asking 160 plus shipping, which will probably be around 16 bucks. I will also consider trade for an eMac, prefer at least 1ghz. HDD and ram dont matter, but would like at least 512mb. Currently located in Highland, Mi. 48375.
