This is "AppleScript Language Guide - English Dialect" written by
Apple Computer and published by Addison-Wesley, copyright 1993. It's a
good book for beginners to AppleScript as well as a reference for more
advanced users. The description on the back cover says, "The
AppleScript Language Guide: English Dialect is the definitive
description of the English dialect of the AppleScript scripting
language. This book is an essential reference for anyone using
AppleScript to modify existing scripts or write new ones. It also
contains useful information for programmers who are working on
scriptable applications or complex scripts. The book begins with an
introduction to scripting and an overview of AppleScript's main
features. Most of the book consists of detailed definitions of
AppleScript terminology and syntax in the following categories...".

I bought this book years ago, but never really used it. It's been on
my bookshelf for years, and is in excellent condition, with no writing
and no dog-eared pages.

Based on the publication date (as well as screenshots) it's obviously
pre-Mac OS X, although I'm not sure if AppleScript has changed that
much over the years.

Asking $10 shipped by USPS Media Mail within the continental U.S.
Nearly any form of payment accepted (PayPal, checks, money orders,
stamps).
