I need to hook up my old Power Mac 8500/150 to a modern-ish Dell flat
panel VGA display. The display has VGA analog input, and the 8500 has
the old Apple DB15 connector. I once had an adapter with DIP switches
to correctly match Apple to VGA. Adapter connected to Mac, display
connected via VGA cable. Unfortunately I gave the adapter away years
ago with an old 6100 so that the recipient could use it with his VGA
monitor. I wasn't using it at the time.

If you have such an item, and you are willing to part with it, please
email me off-list. I'd like to get this for shipping cost, if
possible, but will negotiate to a point.

BTW: I never had luck using the non-switch type of adapter that once
was supplied, I believe, by Apple, so I am not interested in those.
Not that there has to be switches on the unit I buy, but it has to be
proven functional.

Thanks for considering my request.
