I purchased 2 dozen USB 2 and FireWire combo cards. They are Adaptec DuoConnect AUA-3020A with 3 USB, 1 FW400 and 1 FW400 iLink port. You obviously need 10.2.x for USB 2 to work at USB 2 speeds.
I am running one in my MDD and some in Sawtooth, GigE and DA machines. I have a few left if any one is interested for $13 shipped in the US, more internationally.
