Hi,
My sister's iBook is sick and in need of a new motherboard. She
has no plans to replace the board since it is so old and Apple has
quoted her close to $1000 ($700 for parts, $300 for labor). The iBook
still boots, but there is a short where the board meets the AC
adapter, which causes the error message "...now running on reserve
power" to appear.
Anyway, there is nothing wrong with the Airport card and she'd like to
start using my older iMac G3 in its place until she can save up for a
new/refurb Macbook.
Is anyone selling an adapter?
