A fantastic way to capture analog videofrom almost any source. Inputs include coax, RCA and S-Video. Works perfectly but gets no use since I've captured all my old analog stuff and now have a DVR at home.
Will capture from VHS, or any other analog source. However, I think that this won't be able to capture digital signal TV once we move to DTV (if not delayed again) in the US in mid- June, 2009, but should continue to work with TV in Canada as they don't make the move until 2011. Unlike some of Elgato's newer units all of the mpg compression is done within the eyeTV box not by your computer's processor, which means that it can keep capturing seamlessly while you continue to use your computer.
