I am selling a used, but very well maintained, G3 PowerBook, a 400Mhz Pismo. I purchased this from a list member in order to test a bulk lot of parts machines to see what worked and what didn't.
In the process, I upgraded a few things, so you will be getting a really nice machine. Here are the specs: - 400Mhz CPU - 512MB ram (2 x 256 OWC memory chips) - 30Gb Toshiba 2.5" HD - OSX 10.4 installed - I can install OS 9, as this machine will boot and run OS 9 natively or in Classic mode, under 10.4 - DVD - LG DRN-8080B DVD-ROM - 8x DVD, 24x CD-Rom - Original Airport card for wireless networking. Has built-in 10/100 Ethernet and (does anyone really use this?) IrDA - Screen is nice and bright, no stuck pixels or red/pink screen - case plastics show some scuffs, but no cracks anywhere - rear door (port cover) is intact - keyboard - no cracked or missing keys - Yo-yo a/c adapter - Battery holds a good charge - has school system ID etched in the plastic, but otherwise, works great. PRAM battery probably needs to be changed out, but I just check the box in the settings to get date & time info from the time server. I am asking $160 shipped. This includes Priority Mail 2 - 3 day shipping w/ Delivery Confirmation & Insurance. I have bought and sold for quite a while on the LEM list; I package my shipments well.
