Bought a BTO XServe with the SSD. Although we initially like the performance, we are worried about the long term impact as this is a web server and it would constantly be writing to disk. Took out the SSD and replaced it with standard HDDs. Only used for a week and with light testing at that. Comes with the connector ribbon cable- plug and play to your Intel XServe or use with an adapter for desktop/laptop use.
Apple charges $500 on a BTO XServe. Yours for $400 shipped.
