Hello all! Do any of you have an original LCD Studio Display kicking around? If so, I could use a couple of parts off it. They are, to the best of my textual explaining abilities:
- The entire power/signal cable assembly. As in, the one that goes from the Mac to the monitor. (Monitor-side connections must be *carefully* removed from inside the monitor... but if you're still reading, you probably already knew this) - The metal, "T"-shaped piece that connects the rear "foot" stand to the hinge on the monitor. It attaches to the "foot" with three inverted hex screws (they remove with a hex key), and to the hinge with two Phillips head screws. I don't need the "foot" or the hinge, just the metal "T". These will be for a 15" LCD Studio Display (M2454), FWIW. I got it for nothing, and thought it might look nice with my Cube if I could get it working. As such, I don't want to spend a lot on what might still turn out to be a useless monitor. If you don't want to go to the trouble of removing these items, I would consider a complete non-working unit (if the price is right).
