I have for sale Apple Remote Desktop 1.2 for $20. This software will allow a Mac running OS-X 10.3 "Panther" or older to remotely control an unlimited number of other Macs running OS-X or OS-9. These remotely controlled Macs can be in the same room or on the other side of the world. It's also useful for assisting Mac newbies remotely because you can see what's on their screen, move their mouse, and text message them as you're controlling their computer. ARD can be used to compare and distribute software to all the Macs it's controlling. ARD 1.2 is the last version capable of controlling OS-9 Macs. It will only run on OS-X 10.3 "Panther" or older. If you're looking for an elegant Apple designed solution to remotely control old Macs, this is for you. I was reading on LEM about Chicken Of The VNC being used to remotely control an iMac as a music server connected to a stereo. ARD is easily capable of all that and so much more. No need to get another monitor keyboard and mouse to control all your old Macs.
