I have 2 copies of OS 9.2 for sale $10 each, plus $2.00 shipping. These are original Apple install CD's - not restore Cd's, nor copies.
First is 9.0.4 and accompanying 9.2.1 update CD. It states that it will run on PPC macs, as well as G3, and G4 Plus PowerBooks G3 & 4 ( except original G3 PB ) iMacs, and iBooks... The CD says iMac Software Install, and I successfully installed it onto my B&W G3 today, to to verify that it is NOT iMac only install. ( Part # 691-2815-A OS 9.0.4 ) Second is straight 9.2 iMac install Disc. Again, not a restore, but install CD. ( part # 691-3176-A ) I successfully installed it onto my B&W G3 today, to to verify that it is NOT iMac only install. Says it will install on all G3, G4, iBook, PowerBooks G3 & 4 ( except original G3 PB ), and iMac models - not sure if this set will install on PPC Macs.
