Hi all, Starting to purge the pile that has become my office of Mac stuff.
17" G4 PowerBook 1.33 GHz 512 MB RAM 80 GB HD ATI Mobility Radeon 9600 DVD writer Power Supply Good Battery (coconut battery shows 5122 mAh out of 5400mAh) Airport card Problems: 1. Display doesn't work Backlight is fine, but screen displays series of lines and shapes. External video works perfectly, so it's probably an issue with the cable, connector or the display itself. Not taking the time to mess with it. 2. Speakers do not work. >From what I've read, this happens often with this model. The headphone jack works, but the internal speakers won't work unless you replace the sound board. Replacement boards on eBay for $25. If you're hooking it up to external speakers or headphones, you're golden. 3. Not perfect case... Couple of corner dings... nothing terminal, but it ain't perfect.
