I'm moving abroad and can't take all my computers with me... so I'll have to part with my Powerbook Lombard. I purchased this new in August 1999.
The processor has been upgraded by Daystar to a G4/433, with 512mb ram, and a 40gb harddrive. The battery is a NewerTech 7500 and holds a full charge. Comes with yo-yo power adapter, upgraded DVD/CDRW combo drive expansion bay module, Zip250 expansion bay module, Orinoco Gold 802.11b wireless PC card, Maxtor Firewire 400 PC card, and weight saving expansion bay "blank". System has 9.2 and 10.3 installed on separate partitions... CDs are included. The original OS 8.6 CD will be thrown in, although the Daystar processor upgrade software only works with OS9 and up. The Daystar software and the OS X driver for the wireless card were downloads, and I will burn them on a CD with serial numbers. The system is in great running shape. Cosmetically, the top of the case (the back of the display) has a crack at the right hinge, which I glued to prevent the crack from spreading. Also, the rubberized surface has been scratched up in spots. (New display lid plastics run around $20, so this is not a fatal flaw.) I am asking $95 + actual shipping costs for the laptop. I have the original carton to secure the laptop for shipping. Nash Hays Richmond, VA 23229 -- You received this message because you are a member of the LEM Swap group.
