Hello swappers, I am offering, for free, my original computer, a 128k original Mac. It was upgraded to 512k "Fat Mac" by the University of Utah store and later by myself with an external port added (on the back) for a SCSI HDD. It think it cost $2600 with an Imagewriter (long gone). This machine was last powered on at least 10 or 15 years ago. I just now unpacked it, plugged in a power cord, and turned it on: but nothing happens except two clicks. It is probably the power supply; perhaps with new capacitors or something it could be fixed. I have the computer, an original Lone Peak Cordura fabric carrying case with strap (made in Salt Lake City by Lone Peak Designs), keyboard, mouse, keyboard cables (2), and the the 10 inch long hex wrench needed to open the case. I don't promise any disks or materials, but I might have them somewhere, and I'll look. I would like to let it go for free in Ann Arbor, MI 48108 (metro Detroit) via local pickup. If it must be shipped, I ask actual shipping plus $10 for the trouble. This computer is good for someone who has a Mac museum and the time to fiddle with it and get it working. I don't really want to take it to the recycling center, mostly for nostalgic reasons, but I cannot keep it any longer. Best regards, Mike LincolnAnn Arbor, MI 48108 ps--I still have two Hitachi 400 GB drives left, one SATA and one IDE; $25 OBO. Also one 160 GB Hitachi SATA for $15 OBO; both are plus actual shipping. I'll ask $55 plus shipping for all three drives. pps--Please send all inquiries to [email protected] please, which I check often, not this hotmail address _________________________________________________________________ Hotmail: Trusted email with Microsoft’s powerful SPAM protection. http://clk.atdmt.com/GBL/go/201469226/direct/01/
