I need a used mac for my mother. It basically needs to surf the web
and use a usb printer. Looking for one for myself too. I'm looking for one
around $100. I'm not too
concerned with appearance as long as it works. Even a G3 B&W PowerMac or G3
Powerbook or G3 iBook(even clamshell) would work as long as it does those
two things. She rarely uses her home computer anyway and when she does, it
is only to look stuff up online and print a letter or report.
I've got a bunch of older Apple computers to trade if you like vintage
Apple. All work unless noted.
LC575 (has RJ45 ethernet card, cd-rom)
IIci
IIfx
SE
Classic II (either screen or video chip bad)
SE (/30 or /50)
LC (don't know if this works or not)
2 Apple IIe (no number keypad) Both work
1 Apple IIe (with number keypad, white) Works
IIe Monitor (works)
IIe dual floppy (works, both)
IIe hard drive(I think) (works, if I still have it)
ImageWriter printer (works)
A few Apple Mac RGB monitors and a black & white monitor
