Greetings all,
I have a 14" iBook G3/700 that sadly died out - my suspicion is the
ATA controller or the onboard (native) RAM or CPU (least likely
culprit may be the DC board). I am sure someone out there could use
these for parts which, imho, will yield an exceptional opportunity, as
the body is in remarkably excellent condition. When I received it from
another LEM swapster, I was surprised at how good it looked, easily a
9 out of 10.

I will be selling the batteries, Airport card and added RAM
separately. Beyond that I will send the unit whole to you; if by
chance you are better at finding/fixing iBook issues than I am (not
hard to do :-), you could have a great unit at minimal cost. At the
very least the buyer can harvest the following good parts from this
unit:
* screen and all related accoutrements (screen is in stunning
condition, and performed with exceptional brightness)
* 40-Gig hard drive (SMART-verified last I checked when the unit was
running)
* CD-RW/DVD-R tray loading combo drive
* keyboard (excellent shape)
* modem (tested positive), and all ancillary boards (inverter, DC
board IF it most likely proves fine for you)
* Airport cage and other such frames
* the body itself, in excellent shape, and has all feet present, and
latch that works
* speakers, microphone, etc. all tested fine when unit was operational

$42.00 shipped in continental U.S. preferred, but will consider
shipping elsewhere for a mutually-agreed lower price plus actual
shipping cost.

Thank you for the consideration.
Best regards,
Dana
