Name is Wayne B. Getchel, Poway, California 92064

I purchased this iBook as a refurbished item in Nov 2005 for my teenage granddaughter. The current status of the unit is that it will boot up but it takes a long time before video is displayed on the screen then it is only a solid red changing to blue to green to black.
So it seems that the video is screwed up.
The unit as is is a 1.42 ghz G4 processor w 512 mb on board ram plus 512 mb expansion ram.
It has a working Matsushita UJ-825C Super drive DVD +/- R,RW, CD -R,RW.
60 gb ide harddrive.
Airport Extreme Card.
56k V92 Modem built in.
2 USB 2.0 +EDR ports
1 Firewire 400 port
10/100 Ethernet port
The current battery is less than 1 year old and holds a good charge.
The external charging unit is in good condition and works fine.
The external case shows lots of scratches and use and has a series of
small cracks in the bottom L/H corner.
The case appears to have been taken apart at some time as there are some
minor gouge marks where the case was pried apart. Nothing serious but they are evident. Currently the unit is apart.(Cases are separated). I will sell it complete with the Harddrive formatted but no O/S. in a disassembled condition as you are going to have to take it apart anyhow. All screws etc will be sent in a container. I think I have a shipping box for a laptop that will be used to ship. Price is $200 shipped in the lower 48 payment by Postal Money Order. Or best reasonable offer. I will also split up the unit and sell it out by the piece. Price to be negotiated dependent upon what you want.

Shipping is from San Diego Area California. Please contact me off list at [email protected] for your needs

Thanks for Looking
Wayne
