I have a PNY 256MB card flashed to work in a Mac. I tested it in my
G5.

This from someone else's post:

"It will work in a sawtooth g4 without
modification, and will work in other G4's with the trick detailed
here
- http://themacelite.wikidot.com/pins-3-and-11";

Basically, if you have a G4 and it does not have ADC you don't have to
do anything. Otherwise it's an easy mod. You can also cut the traces
to those pins, tape over the two pins, or I bet remove the ADC power
wire from the motherboard connector (don't cut just release the wire
and insulate it and leave it hangin'), but I never tried that. That
would be the neatest and easily reversible mod.

It is Core Image hardware accelerated (you get the liquid effect when
dropping a widget in OS 10.5) and Quartz Extreme accelerated as
reported by About This Mac. 256MB RAM is recognized.

It has a connector to add a fan on the card for cooling which I would
recommend.

I played back two MP4 videos on a G5 with it very smoothly.

$45 shipped obo.
