The slim and stylish Canon CanoScan N1220U features attractive scan quality, respectable performance. Itt is highly portable as I usually carry it in my laptop bag. No external power needed as it powers through the USB port. I am the original owner and have used it successfully from many years starting with a Pismo G3 through a modern day MacBook running OS X 10.4 (Tiger). It does not work under Leopard or Snow Leopard.
