System Specs:

Deviations from the standard specs include:

 - 100 GB Fujitsu hard disk;
 - 1 GB RAM in one slot

This unit is in 'sort-of working' condition - I have been using it to share files and printers. The major issue with it is a defect in video support: It appears that Quartz Extreme is 'broken' on a hardware level. I have been able to make the hardware more useable by disabling hardware QE support in software, but it is not satisfactory for normal use (also much less satisfactory under Leopard compared to Tiger). There is also a more recent issue: when left on 24/7, the unit will start emitting a high-pitched 'whine' or 'buzz', which is sometimes followed by flickering brightness and loss of video (usually vertical muti-colored lines/stripes).

The case is cosmetically in good condition, - almost no scuffing or blemishes, with the exception of a small dent in the left front corner. At least one rubber foot is missing - I have applied cork pads to the corners for support.

Firewire, USB, Ethernet and video ports work (the latter shows the same symptoms as the integral screen). Airport Extreme card also works.

The screen has some slight surface scuffing, and a visible anomaly in the lower center of the screen, which may be a small crack; I just noticed it today (About 1 cm long - it looks like a thin eyelash is on the screen)

Keyboard and trackpad show very slight wear from normal usage. All keys work.

One RAM slot is dead - apparently a common fault with this model.

The battery shows 345 cycles, and as of this morning, 836 mAh capacity (not quite dead).

The hard drive has been formatted and zeroed - The unit will be supplied _without_ a system install.

I have tested the optical drive to boot from a Tiger install CD - No other testing performed. System Profiler reports it as a Matshita DVD-R, Model UJ-816, which agrees with the Superdrive listed in the EveryMac specifications.
