FS: Umax SuperMac J700/180 PPC 604e CLONE Umax SuperMac J700/180, 180 MHz PowerPC 604e processor, 64 MB of RAM, 2.1 GB hard drive; 2 MB IX-Micro Twin Turbo video card (video capture); Miromotion DC20 PCI card (analog capture).
I bought this NEW in 1996 and had the MiroMotion DC20 card installed by the dealer. Used for graphic arts production; also ran Premiere LE with no problems; later ran Premiere 4.1. In the original box, with manual, and Umax OS 7.5 installer CD. I'm downsizing my possessions and don't have room to store this. This is the most dependable Mac I've ever owned. It boots up perfectly. The CD drawer opens and closes and the light blinks, but it won't read the disk. Maybe it's stuck from not being used, or it's a software issue, or the drive has died. Also needs a battery.
