I've got a Microtech Firewire 400 CompactFlash card reader that I no longer use, as my new camera uses SD media. I used it with 10.4 and 10.5, without the need for any drivers. No gaunentees, but I suspect it works with 10.3 as well. This might be a great solution for someone who uses an iMac G4 or Mac Mini that does not has USB 2.0 ports.
