Happy New Year to all!
A while back I made a "WTB" request re: PowerMac 6100s. Thanks to the
group I received more than enough good units/parts to assemble (more
than) 2 complete 6100s, so, I am offering one up for sale. Unlike eBay
units that are bare-bones (and overpriced), this one is pretty
complete, saving one having to scour the countryside looking for
additions.
Here's what I got:
* 6100/60 - 40 Mb RAM, L2 cache card, 1 Gig hard drive, Apple 300i CD-
ROM, working
floppy drive.
* Apple Design keyboard (extended) and mouse (teardrop)
* power cord and inverse power cord (plug your monitor into the PSU),
both beige
• the necessary HD-45 to DB15 video adapter, plus a Belkin Mac-to-VGA
adapter
• Farallon AAUI to RJ-45 ethernet adapter
• Case is a bit yellowed w/ age, but is otherwise in good shape, all
bezels intact and filler
bracket is present, has all four legs intact.
Everything works fine. I can install your OS of choice (7.5, 7.6, 8.1,
8.5, 8.6, 9.0, 9.1, though I recommend 8.6).
$40 (obo) plus actual shipping costs from 46989 (Upland, IN)
Caveats:
1) label on the case actually says Performa 6115
2) the insulator to the CD-ROM was somewhat grody and rusty, I cleaned
it and lined it
(covered it) with surgical paper tape to protect the drive and
case
