Hello swappers, I'm looking to get a "headless" (no screen) laptop to use as a music server.
What it needs: the video out port must be fully functional USB and firewire ports must work at least 512MB of RAM would be good, bluetooth and a wireless card would be a bonus. power supply What it doesn't need: a hard drive optical drive keyboard cosmetics don't matter as long as the rest works So I'm thinking perhaps a late model powerbook, G3 or G4 ibook. If it can run Leopard, even better. Looking to spend $50, maybe more if you've got exactly what I need.
