Long story short, I watched a client accidentally break this on his
beloved vintage Macintosh that was otherwise pampered it's entire
life. The item is literally a "kickstand" or prop to hold the power
supply and drives half of the computer up. It was used on PPC and
probably G3 desktop models. His specifically was a Power Macintosh
7300 I believe. The part number is 922-1730, and an exploded parts
diagram and service manual depiction of the object in question can be
found <a href="http://gallery.me.com/
