I have a hot rodded Pismo for sale. It has a Fast Mac 550mhz G4 CPU upgrade, 768mb RAM, and a 60 GB 7,000rpm hard drive installed. Also includes a upgraded CD burner/DVD player module, and has original Airport 802.11/b card installed. This was the first Powerbook to have Firewire 400 and the only Apple portable to have 2 Firewire 400 ports. It also has 2 USB 1.1 ports along with an external VGA port.
The screen backlight has been replaced once already. The screen is quite pink when doing a cold start, but after it warms up, the screen looks great several minutes later. Battery holds a 1 hour charge. Currently has OSX 10.3.9 and 9.2 installed and is a dual boot system. The original software CDs and retail OSX 10.3 install CDs are included.
