Selling my 2008 24" iMac in order to upgrade. It was the top of the line model when I bought it new from the Apple Store the day it came out.

3.06 GHz Intel Core2 Duo dual core processor
2GB RAM
500 GB Hard Drive
CDRW / Dual Layer DVD-RW Optical Drive
24" LCD Screen
512MB Nvidia 8800GS Graphics Card
Gigabit ethernet
4 USB ports
1 Firewire 400 port
1 Firewire 800 port
Apple wired keyboard
Apple Pro wired mouse (this is an earlier mouse from a G5, I no longer have the original Mighty Mouse from the iMac)

I have the original box, foam inserts, keyboard box, and Leopard discs. Plus I'll include a copy of Snow Leopard 10.6.3 which I just bought and haven't opened yet (though I can install it before purchase if you want).

* Its still under Apple Care until April 30, 2011. *

I'd like to avoid shipping this and ebay/paypal fees so I'm asking $750 cash, local pickup only.

I've been a member of the listserve for years and have sold on ebay since 1999 and have a 100% feedback rating.

I have miscellaneous other, older Mac stuff to get rid of so if you buy the iMac there's likely to be some cheap/free other things here for you.
