Back in time on this request, all of the above is for a client who like his Power Macintosh 8600/250 just the way it is. (And I honestly support him in the matter...)
The HD needs to be known good and preferably newer or less frequently used, his is flaky as can be and failing tests left and right, willing to pay for piece of mind on this one. Being an 8600, I THINK there should be room to consider 68pin or SCA drives with an adapter or good recommendation on where to find one. As for ClarisWorks 4.0, his 6 disk floppy set has finally bitten the dust, specifically disk 6 (why not wait till the end??) Just needs to properly install. Thanks all.
