Also: I have an iMac G5 for sale. It is of the 17 inch 2.0 Ghz
variety, equipped w/512 RAM, a Superdrive and a
160 GB hard drive. This unit is in excellent cosmetic appearance.
Several of the capacitors were leaking, so I replaced all the
capacitors on the logic board and it runs Leopard, now, like a champ.
In the process of this "operation", the airport extreme card broke
off in it's socket and cannot be repaired, therefore a working
(tested on my network) Asus wireless dongle will be included along
with a replacement airport extreme card (that you can use with
some other unit). The right speaker is inaudible, but the right
channel comes through as it should using headphones or external
speakers.
I do not have the original install/restore discs and will remove the
installed Leopard if it sells.
I am asking $150 for this one.
