They latch onto the back of the shuffle, or else can be used with a USB sync cable to charge any iDevice (I used one for my iPhone) except probably the iPad, which needs a 2 amp charging current. These were originally purchased from Other World Computing. $20 or $15 including USA shipping (flat rate box) for the new or the used unit. Or make an offer!
