I have a MacBook Pro 17" Santa Rosa (2007) for sale for parts. Water
got spilled on in and now the bottom three quarters of the display
shows garbled video. The machine clearly boots to the login screen -
it appears that it is just the video that is damaged. Whether it is a
logic board issue or a problem with the display I can't say - I simply
got another rather than pay for an examination. I can say that the
logic board was replaced by the Apple Store prior to the spillage to
fix the nVidia issue that these computers are sometimes afflicted
with.

The cosmetic condition is good overall. The display is not scratched
and has has no stuck pixels, and the latch works. The bottom is
scuffed due to normal wear, but the keyboard/trackpad area and lid are
in good shape.

The computer would come with the battery (about 300 cycles),
Superdrive, and RAM install (2 GB x2). Hard drive and power adapter
are NOT included.

If you would like to try to revive this beast, or scavenge for parts,
please let me know. Asking $175 via PayPal shipped CONUS.

Thanks!
