Hi Swappers,

Although I nearly sold my iBook G3 due to needing cash, I managed
to solve that issue without having to sell my iBook. But now I'd like
to actually
go in for the machine that I've *really* wanted to get my hands on for a long
time: the coveted PowerBook G3 "Pismo"!

While I haven't got a significant amount of money to buy one outright, I would
like to offer my iBook G3 as a partial trade for a Pismo. The specs are:

* 500 MHz G3
* 192 MB RAM
* 80GB HDD
* Runs OS 9.2.2 and OS X 10.4.11
* AirPort included

The iBook itself is very clean with no major dings. It has a few
feather scuffs, but has
a solid LCD hinge and a very good battery (about 3 hours). What I'm
looking for is:

* Equivalent CPU
* At least 256MB RAM; preferable to have 512MB RAM for Tiger
* AirPort Card
* Optical drive
* Decent enough battery to last me on bus and train rides

The hard drive isn't important, as I'll be supplying my own. The
machine must be in working
order at the very least, and boot without issues. I'll be doing my own
little fix-ups on it as time
goes by, but at the very least I just want a solid base on which to
build up from. Also, while
they aren't essential, I wouldn't mind getting an expansion or two
(floppy, ZIP, second battery, etc.)
to go with it.

I will include the AC adapter for the iBook, and per list rules will
wipe the machine beforehand.
I can also offer up to $50 additional cash-wise to cover extra costs
for the trade. Shipping will
be to zip code 07071. Thanks, all!
