eMac (USB 2.0 version) $100 with local pickup in great condition. http://support.apple.com/kb/SP85
1.25GHz PowerPC G4 SuperDrive (DVD-R/CD-RW) 17-inch (16-inch viewable) flat CRT This eMac has been upgraded to a 160GB HD, 1Gig of RAM, and an Airport Extreme Wifi card. This model has both USB2.0 and Firewire (FW400) ports for high speed access. This was the second to last eMac model made (released in 2004) so only the 1.42GHz version is faster. Comes with original install/restore discs which include OS 10.3 (Panther) and iLife v4 plus all the other applications that were bundled with the machine originally. I have wiped the drive and restored it back include all the original software it came with. In addition, it has been updated to OS 10.4 (Tiger). According to the specs for Panther (10.5) you could also install that operating system on this machine (not included). I will also include an OEM CD of PS Elements v2 which works great on this machine. I didn't bother reinstalling it after I wiped the hard drive, but you will get the disc to do it yourself if you want to use it. This machine is also a great DVD playback machine. If you set it up in the right place, it can easily double as a DVD player for the kids. Also great for iTunes. I used this machine for many years, especially importing and editing my Digital8 home videos with iMovie v4, creating video DVDs with iDVD v4, and using PS Elements to edit my digital photos. It is still very capable of this sort of thing. For the last few years I have been using it as a secondary computer to my newer iMac and finally replaced it with another iMac so I have no place to set this one up anymore. Included will be an Apple keyboard (although not the original one that came with it as that one, and other after it, met with unfortunately beverage incidents) and the power cord. But I do not have a spare mouse for it, so you will need to supply your own mouse. However any standard USB mouse will work and I actually preferred a $10 Logitech mouse over the original Apple supplied mouse (which I sold years ago). Original install DVDs will be included along with the PS Elements v2 CD. I may even have the original box in my basement (will have to look). Due to the rather substantial weight of this computer (it is a CRT based machine after all) I really do not want to ship it and prefer local pickup. However if you are willing to pay the shipping costs I can send it, but I suspect shipping would add as much as another $50- ish to the price.
