Hello, I need, or, at least, would like to have, a KVM switch. If it will make things any easier, I don't actually need the "V" part of "KVM," as all I'm looking to do is to share a USB keyboard and mouse between two USB-equipped machines. Should you happen to have an otherwise fully-functional KVM switch with a blown-out video port, and have been wondering on whom you might unload it, wonder no more (subject to the below, of course).
I -do- need the switch to work angst-free in Apple OS 9.0 through 10.4.11. I would prefer that it be as compact as possible, and the darker the color, the better, (black is ideal). Finally, I need you to tell me the make and model number of the unit you're offering so I can check out old reviews, pictures, etc., and be sure what you have is what I'm looking for. Shipping will be to zip 95132 (CA, SF Bay Area/San Jose). A non-negotiable requirement is that the switch be shipped in a cardboard box. If you can't or won't fulfill that requirement, please be nice to yourself and do not respond. Other than that, all I need to know is your asking price, shipped, using cheap and slow shipping (USPS Parcel Post is fine). I can pay via PayPal.
