For sale is a G3 14" screen iBook with two cosmetic issues. First, the specs: 700 MHz, 256 MB RAM (upgradable on request), 30 GB HD, Combo drive, Airport, battery takes only a slight charge. All functions tested and working. Screen is good, with a few very small bright spots only seen when viewed on a flat, light background.
The issues: There is a small indentation of crunched plastic around the DC-in port. The port function is not affected, and is firm and does not wiggle. There is a two-inch crack on the left-hand palm rest, covered with clear tape to prevent moisture from getting into the machine. This is a good functional laptop if use of a beater is warranted. $55 shipped anywhere in the US. Add $12 for a new aftermarket AC adapter.
