I've given up on my once-trusted 15" PowerBook G4 -- logic board/onboard
video is dead -- and am offering up the good parts to offset somewhat the
cost of my new MacBook.
I purchased the computer new in April, 2005, and it has been in pretty much
daily use since then. It's been taken care of well, but with six years of
use, it does have some cosmetic issues. If it weren't for the logic board
issue, I would've continued to use it, but this one is a showstopper (plus
I'm loving the MacBook!)
All prices listed include shipping to anywhere in the lower-48 states; will
consider shipping outside the contiguous states, but at additional cost.
Payment is best handled through PayPal (check with me for address) but will
consider other forms of payment as well (or interesting trades, at my

6. Auto Power Adapter -- Don't remember the brand, but it was
bought from OWC when the computer was new. Used little,
but works great -- $25.00
7. 2-1GB 200-pin DDR PC2700 333MHz SODIMMs -- $25 each or $40 for both
8. Top lid with LCD Screen and hinges -- $75.00. Hinges are nice
& tight, no wobble. No dead pixels, but with light background
colors it looks like some slightly dark smudges near the right
edge, very minor, and does not appear to be an electronic issue,
only cosmetic (can provide a photo if you like.)
9. Case top with keyboard & trackpad -- $30.00
Any other parts not listed, make me an offer. Even if you're only
looking to replace some miscellaneous missing screws; I hate to
throw stuff away!
