I need three or four of each of both good working batteries and optical drive modules for Pismo and Lombard Powerbook G3s. I would prefer to get as much of this stuff as possible from one or two swappers to save on shipping costs. I am not likely to consider offers for a single item.
Batteries - Must be known to enable the laptop to function for at least one hour on battery power. Aftermarket OK. Optical drives - CD Drives, DVD drives and combo drives wanted. Aftermarket OK, but I prefer modules that have a cover-bezel that is flush-mounted to the contour of the machine (you know what I mean!). If what you are offering does not, please let me know. I will also consider working zip drive modules, floppy modules or weight-saving device modules you want to include in your offer. And what the heck, if anyone has a known-working G4 550 MHz processor upgrade kit, I would like one of those too. I'll buy, but also let me know if there is anything you would be looking for in trade. I have G3- and G4- era RAM, a nearly extinct supply of G3 iMacs and parts, a few flavors of G4 PowerMac, and a couple good cd-rom-only G3 800 MHz 12" iBook laptops.
