Hey Swappers, I've got a definite vintage/legacy product, and possibly something of an oddity on my hands. It's an Apple Quicktime Conferencing Kit, in the original box, with everything included (software CD, cables, manual and a Quicktime video camera [not Quicktake] that looks like a space shuttle from a bad sci-fi movie).
The forerunner to the iSight, these allowed older machines to videoconference. A lot of you probably know more about these things than me. Works with OS 7.5 and up, with an AV machine (I would venture any machine with an RCA video jack that runs classic could use this, but can't guarantee that). Not sure if the camera's full capabilities work past classic -- might be fun for collectors/hobbyists to find out, or how collectable these things are (can't find one on ebay). As well, if you're desperate to videoconference with your 8100AV, this may be your lucky day? How's $60 shipped? Thanks!
