For Sale... a LineLink 144e modem

This is a classic! A real 14.4 Kbps modem...

by Technology Concepts, manufactured by Prometheus. In very good & clean condition.

These were quite popular, back in the day, on both Mac and PC. Remember dialing into CompuServe to get to MAUG???? Or those first days of SLIP or PPP?

As I recall, these modems were such a deal - less than $100!

Not sure how I ended up with it, but it's been sitting here for a couple of years. The tag on it says it works. Donno where the power supply / wall wart is, so I'm offering it without and no data cable.

It has ger blinkin lights on the front. Power jack, power switch, RS232 port, then phone and line jacks on the back.

LOL Google found it for $59! with pictures!

How 'bout $5 plus shipping, OBO?

Total shipping weight is around 1.5 pounds.

======
 (my standard fine print)

Add actual shipping cost from 08003. The weight(s) listed above are estimates, including box and packing materials. My intention is to collect only actual shipping cost; any overage will be refunded! USPS preferred. Insurance is required on orders over $50. Will ship internationally. I ship as soon as I can, usually within a few days of the the payment clearing. Local pick-up can be arranged (paypal in advance, or bring cash!).

Payment must be in US dollars. Paypal is preferred. Since it's a business account, I can even securely accept most major credit cards. I also accept USPS Money Orders. Sorry, no checks.

All items are guaranteed not DOA, unless specified "as-is".

Thanks,
- Dan Cottler
