I have two Pismos for sale, one pretty nice, the other OK.
#1:
Case in good shape, good display, normal wear and tear.
The coveted G4 550 MHz processor upgrade
1 GB RAM
60 GB 7200 rpm HD
Original Airport card (a/b)
Linksys wireless g card
Pretty much brand-new 84 watt-hour battery
(http://eshop.macsales.com/shop/apple_laptop/batteries/PowerBook_G3_Pismo,
the spendy one)
Original CD-ROM module
Brand-new PRAM battery
Set up like this, I'd like to get $150 for it...
#2:
Case in not as good but still OK shape. The right corner arm/lever to
remove the right bay is missing about an inch and a half of plastic but
it is still functional. The original CD-ROM module is missing its bezel
entirely; I suspect some previous owner sacrificed it for something. It
still functions fine. Good display.
G3 500 MHz processor
512 MB RAM
13 GB original HD (5400 or 4200 rpm? I suspect 4200)
No airport
Brand-new OWC battery like the one above.
For this, I'd like $110, if only for the battery.
I also have a DVD-RW module with a non-matching bezel that I can add to
either machine for another $10.
I have an original battery that seems to hold a good charge (it lasts at
least an hour) that I can put in the not-so-good machine INSTEAD of the
new one and then you can have that machine for $80.
I have also an aftermarket battery bought from eBay which was not nearly
as good as its seller claimed. Huh. It does hold a charge for at least
three hours, though.
Both machines come with chargers (rectangular) and carry cases, though
the less-good one will come with a bag that someone wrote their name on.
Both of these are running Tiger 10.4.11 right now, and quite well, I
might add, though both will have their drives wiped before shipping as I
have no install media available. (some lucky buyer of an old Smurf got
a free Tiger install DVD, I suspect... grr)
Shipping is extra; it will be UPS ground unless otherwise requested and
paid for--PO Boxes will get USPS flat-rate boxes. Shipping will only be
to the lower 48 states. Payment should be by Paypal.
Feel free to correct my pricing or make mix-and-match requests (for
example, you might want the good machine with both good batteries so you
can surf for hours; that's what I did--that would run you about $190, I
suspect... ) or even to buy items individually--within reason. Meaning,
I really don't want to part them out. I had fun putting them both
together from stuff I found and bought over the last year or so and I'm
pretty much done tinkering with them. I'd like someone to enjoy the
fruits of my pointless tinkering.

Feel free to ask questions or tell me I'm nuts. It's OK.
