I know this may be a bit out of line and likely against the rules to
post, but I am getting desperate here.
A week before Christmas I put a WTB out on here for an iPhone 4. Mark
responded wth an offer, which I took. He gave me an address to paypal
to, I paypaled and emailed him that I had done so. Didn't hear from him
until a few days after Christmas, when he told me he'd shipped it and
would look for the tracking number. Fast forward several emails from me
which went unanswered, and I got an email on Jan 1st that he'd been
unable to track the package, but asked if it had arrived. I replied that
it had not, but I figured it'd come Tuesday. Tuesday came, no iPhone.
Emailed him saying that, no response. Same thing every day this week.
I've even tried emailing the address I paypaled to with no response. I'm
getting worried. After checking with neighbors and even going to the
post office, I have no clue where my iPhone is and Mark is MIA.
Now, upon searching my email for his address, I noticd that he listed an
iPad for sale on here on the 29th. I was wondering if the person who
bought that could email me with their experience (and the address they
sent Paypal to, if they don't mind sharing. Mine was different than his
email.) If they got their iPad safe and sound and had good communication
with Mark I'll know something is up and go ahead and file the paypal
dispute. If they are in a similar situation, I'll assume something
happened to Mark and give it a little longer.
Again, sorry for posting this to the group, but I have never had a
swaplist experience like this before, and doubt many others have either.
Thanks,
Chance Reecher
